Fulton Public Schools are a big part of my life. I attended Bush School (K-4), Center School (5-6), Jr. High (Middle School) (7-8), and High School (9-12). I graduated from Fulton High School in 1992.
I attended Central Missouri State University (University of Central Missouri) in Warrensburg, MO from 1992-1995. I transferred to William Woods University in 1995. I graduated from there in 1997 with a Bachelor's of Science in Special Education (Kindergarten - 12th grade) and Elementary Education (1st - 6th grade).
I have been teaching at Bush School since January 1998. I teach at the same elementary school that I attended as a little girl. I really enjoy it. I love all my students present and past. I really like it when the students from my past come up to me and talk to me in public. I like hearing what their lives are like now.
I got married in 1995. My husband, Brent, is a mailman here in Fulton. He also went through the Fulton Public School system. We have 3 daughters (Jacquelyn, Jessica, Janae) who all go through the Fulton School System. We are BIG Mizzou Tigers, St. Louis Blues and St. Louis' Cardinal fans. We go to games every year.
In my spare time, I love to watch my husband play sports. He plays softball and kickball. When we are not at the ball field, I love to spend time with my family. I have a big one. We play cards, have meals together, and just hang out. I love my vegetable garden, canning vegetables, hanging clothes on my cloth line, spending time with family and friends and reading my Karen Kingsbury books.
