This Week at FMS:  

Wednesday: MAP testing for 6th 7th and 8th grade, track meet (7th grade)

Thursday: Science MAP for 8th grade,

Friday: FCA meeting, Bartley Tour


Attention 8th graders!  If you are interested in taking PE or Health at the High School this summer, please pick up an enrollment form in the Guidance Office.  Classes will fill up quickly so make sure you get your form completed and returned to Ms. Jo as soon as possible.


Attention Middle School Girls:  There will be a FREE Middle School Basketball Camp Monday, May 22-Thursday, May 25.  Registration deadline is Friday, May 5.  See Coach Windmiller for more information.


Attention Girls Entering High School:  There will be a FREE High School Basketball Camp for those wanting to play basketball in high school Monday, May 22-Thursday, May 25.  Registration deadline is Friday, May 5.  See Coach Windmiller for more information.


If you are in 8th grade and are interested in running cross country at the high school next year listen up!  There will be an information meeting at the high school on Monday May 1st at 3:30 in the commons.  If you cannot make the meeting, see Coach Yates to get an information packet!


Attention 8th graders! CHOIR AUDITIONS

Any 8th grade students planning on auditioning for FHS Choir next year need to go to Miss Lehman's room and pick up an audition packet and sign up for a 10-minute audition. Auditions will be in the FHS Choir room May 1st-5th after school. Deadline to sign up for an audition is Friday, APRIL 28th."


Would you like to see a change in what happens here at FMS?  Have any ideas you would like to share?  We would like you to join Student Council next year!  Become a representative for your class by picking up a Letter of Intent from Ms. Barkho before the end of the day on April 26.  These are due to Ms. Barkho by Friday, April 28.


If you are interested in trying out for Football cheerleading or as mascot, tryout clinics will begin on Monday May 8th  from 3:30 to 4:30.  Please meet in Mrs. Yates room, 127.  Clinics will be Monday-Wednesday from 3:30 - 4:30 with Tryouts on Thursday.   Wear appropriate clothing you will feel comfortable moving in as we will be learning the tryout cheer and Fulton Boy. All participants must have a completed physical in order to participate in tryouts.  Tryouts will be held on Thursday, May 11th. Please check your email for more information.


Reminder:  There are no drink or food allowed in the gym before school. If you bring a drink or any food item, you must go to the cafeteria in the morning to eat or drink anything you bring. You will be dismissed with other students eating in the cafeteria with the bell.


Make sure you join Sports Spectacular and win for your grade!!  Here are a few events you can participate in:

  • Inchworm Relay You are in a sleeping bag laying on the ground and you must scoot yourself until you reach the other side and then pass it off to your teammate

  • Spinning Free Throws You place your head on a bat and spin on the ground 4 times around, fast and then you shoot a free throw.  There is a time limit

The yearbooks are here! The yearbooks are here!  They will go on sale in the gym before school every morning May 1st to May 5th.  They are $10.  You may pay cash or check (make out to FMS).  See if you can be the first student to find their picture on the cover!


Do you like Flaming Hot Cheetos?  If you do, you are in luck.  Flaming hot chips will be sold during lunch.  There are two sizes!  The small bag is $1.00 and the large bag is $2.00.  All money made from the sale of chips will go towards the 8th grade field trip.  Cheetos will only be sold in the mornings by the concession stand

Attention all FMS Students!  Please collect and bring in box tops to FMS every day. You may drop them off in a box at the front office window.  Together, we can!

There will be no Chromebook checkout during MAP testing.
