A message from the Principal
My name is Amy Crane and I am the Principal at McIntire Elementary. I am a “Fultonian” and a graduate of Fulton High School and Westminster College. I completed student teaching and my first year as a first grade teacher at McIntire. When my husband, David, and I were married we relocated to the St. Louis area, where I taught first grade in the Mehlville School District. While in St. Louis, I earned my Master of Education degree with a Special Reading Certificate from University of Missouri - St. Louis. Since returning to Fulton 25 years ago, I have taught 1st grade, second grade, was a stay at home mom for several years, then returned to fulltime teaching as a reading specialist. I completed my Education Specialist in Administration Degree and have an Initial Administrator Certificate for grades K-8. When I was a stay at home mom, I kept myself busy playing with my boys and by owning and operating a children's clothing and gift store in downtown Fulton. During that time I was also involved in many community organizations and events. David and I have two sons, Trask and Mason. Trask is 21 and is a junior at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Mason is 17 and is a junior at Fulton High School.
